Excelent course!Absolutely the best front-end course I have seen so far. Incredibly clear, even though it teachs the most important concepts that even many practitioners do not know so well.

The Meta back-end development course is definitely professional, giving a detailed instruction on basics like CSS, HTML, Python, and even the front-end for full-stack experience. However, the course is dry, and some of the instructions are confusing. The labs are set up with requirements that don't allow for creativity towards the beginning, not allowing for any sort of independent thinking for a learner to comprehend the material. This feels fine until the course abruptly leaves you on your own in peer graded assignments, where the minimal direction is a harsh, sudden change for learners who haven't yet learned to do this on their own. The course instruction itself is without life, explaining the content, but in a dry and boring way. It's not necessarily wrong to do this, however, without a burst of humor, new learners may find themselves intimidated, and unable to retain information. I, and many studies have found that learners in a lively, entertaining environment find themselves with better attentiveness and retention. This uninspiring workspace doesn't well cater to that. I have no intention to say that this course is ineffective; I've learned a lot. In the future, this certificate course will prove useful to me, and it will have been worth it. This course is very educational, just not for the faint of heart. A self-paced learner may find themselves struggling to understand or keep up with the dry pace of this course.

The name of the course is "Introduction to Back-End Development" but to me, I think it's more front-end focused with HTML, CSS, and Javascript. The React lessons are more related to the back-end but there're not enough knowledges and information. Furthermore, it would be better if Meta and Coursera can include source code to make it easier for students following along.
